Sunlight on The Pitt Building

23 Jul 2021

I do like how this camera/lens renders sunlight reflections when I remember to catch them. I thiink one problem with cameras is I get very familiar with the output quickly and start to see that as just the way cameras are, and forget I’m fortunate right now to have one that does things like this.

Normally I don’t use the Sony colour profiles, as I find they tend to lean into slightly unnatural colours, particularly pushing up yellows. But here they suit the Pitt Building quite well.

Taken on 21 July 2021 in Cambridge, United Kingdom, using a SONY ILCE-7RM2 with a %!s() 24-70mm F2.8 DG DN | Art 019 lens.
